Musical Gloves
Fall 2013
Musical Gloves is a creation for my Interaction Lab final project in 2013. It is inspired by the concept of the wearable device and my love for music. Conductive thread sewn into the gloves is connected to different pins on the Arduino board, so when two fingers touch each other, the particular circuit is activated and one certain sound piece will play on Processing. The serial communication between Arduino and Processing is realized by Firmata. By touching your left thumb with any of the four left hand fingers, you can select one of four background soundtracks. Meanwhile, by touching your right thumb with any of the other four right hand fingers, you can play one percussion sound as a beat to the background music.
